Professional Coding Camp 11/8/2010 - 11/12/2010 The Camp will cover CPT, ICD-9-CM, HCPCS II coding guidelines along with test-taking strategies and time drills. Camp attendees are required to bring CPT, ICD- 9, and HCPCS Level II coding books to the Camp. CPCSI recommends the CPT Professional Edition for the Camp. An AMA Press discount order form is available for attendees. The course curriculum is presented in a chapter format. Chapters include medical terminology, anatomy overviews, with CPT, ICD-9-CM, and HCPCS Level II broken down by section. The course also includes class exercises and end-of-chapter review questions, to enhance comprehension of the material covered. Terence Johnson, J.D., C.P.C., C.C.P., is a healthcare consultant with over 16 successful years in healthcare and law. He is a national speaker and co-founder of the South Suburban Illinois Local Chapter of the AAPC. Mr. Johnson is a former member of the American Academy of Professional Coder's Legal Advisory Board. He specializes in PATH guidelines, E/M audits, and Helathcare Compliance. Terence is also approved by the Academy to instruct on a national basis.
